We’ve Seen the Future

We’ve Seen the Future...
And it is beautiful. Pantone, the company that dictates what color everything in your life will be (even down to your favorite bath bomb) has released their 2018 Color of the Year: PANTONE 18-3838. Better known as Ultra Violet, or your new favorite color, whichever you prefer. Pantone calls Ultra Violet, “a dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade” that “communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us towards the future”. Thoughtful? Provocative? Forward-thinking? Is Pantone describing a color, or Truth + Dare?
We’re so into Ultra Violet that we’re not waiting for 2018 to begin incorporating it into our everyday. Below is a round-up of all our favorite products in this must-have color.
Graphic tees go with anything. Don’t believe me? Tuck it into ripped up jeans and add a strappy sandal and blazer for brunch, add it to tailored high-waist pants and a cropped jacket for dinner, or tie it up just above a leather mini skirt for a night on the town. Just don’t be surprised when you wear it to all 3 and wake up in it since it’s so soft — not that I’m talking from experience…. P.S. all profits go to organizations supporting women and girls!
Pair with high-waisted jeans, a leather jacket, gold jewelry and fun booties for a complete look.
We love a cozy pullover with ripped up jeans and western ankle boots.
Who says floral is just for spring? Pair this dress with a denim jacket and cool sneakers.
Perfect for a night out or even New Years. We love it with black jeans and sky high stilettos.
Quite possibly the coolest t-shirt you’ll ever own, besides ours obvi. Edge it up with black jeans and black boots, or keep it casual tucked into boyfriend jeans.
Tassels and ultra-violet, it doesn’t get trendier than this

Ignore anyone that says it’s possible to own too many candles. They’re lying.
Read above (RE: owning too much), but apply to running shoes.
As if you could have too many Apple products either.
