New on Netflix: January 2018
by Emma Robson
New year, new Netflix binge, am I right? Here’s a list of what I’m most excited to catch on Netflix in the first month of 2018.
Bring it On: All of my middle school dreams are coming true. I can’t tell you how many times I asked my dad to take my friends and me to Blockbuster so we could rent this masterpiece on DVD, and now it’s available at the click of a button. And the best part? All four sequels will be added as well.
Grace and Frankie - Season 4: Picture this: you’re retired and living your best life, until your husband reveals that he has been having an affair with a man for 20 years. What’s a girl to do? Grace and Frankie answers this question with hilarious storylines and witty dialogue.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s: Audrey Hepburn’s pearls will never go out of style, and neither will this movie.
Maddman: The Steve Madden Story: There are few things I love more than shoes and documentaries, so naturally this is at the top of my list.
The Godfather - Parts I, II, and III: I’ve already scheduled my mob marathon, and you should do the same.
The Shawshank Redemption: Looks like the “critically acclaimed” section of Netflix will be growing this month. This oscar-nominated drama is a guaranteed tear-jerker and a possible life-changer.
2018 Olympic Winter Games Preview: Meet Team USA & Go For the Gold: In elementary school, I always wondered why they didn’t cancel school during the Olympics. In college, nothing’s changed.
Rotten: I am equally scared and excited to binge this new documentary series about the nasty perils of the food industry.
Lovesick - Season 3: This British comedy is perfect for anyone trying and failing to navigate the confusing and terrifying world of young love. (Me. This show is perfect for me.)
If you need me I’ll be netflix and chilling with myself. Happy binging!
